Verona Fights Hunger week

Please join the Junior Women’s Club of Verona in fighting hunger! This year we celebrate the 12th anniversary of our annual town-wide food drive Verona Fights Hunger Week. All donations from the super-sized food drive benefit The Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair and the Food Pantry at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Verona. The drive begins Saturday October 11, 2025, and concludes on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with a food collection celebration on the steps of the Verona Town Hall at 9 am.

There are 6 ways you can help support our drive:

1. Participate in our Shop & Drops taking place the weekends before and during verona fights hunger week.

Saturday 10/4 - SunRise ShopRite in West Caldwell from 10 am -4 pm.
Saturday 10/11 - SunRise ShopRite in West Caldwell from 10 am -4 pm.

Fresh Grocer in Cedar Grove

6. DINE & DONATE

Verona restaurants are invited to host Dine & Donate Days when 15-20% of the proceeds go back to Verona Fights Hunger Week. See below which restaurants are hosting which nights and make plans to eat out.
