Residents are invited to join the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Verona at their annual bunny brunch from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27 at the First Presbyterian Church, which is located at 10 Fairview Avenue.
The event will allow you to take your own picture with the Easter bunny and will have children’s crafts. Bagels, muffins, coffee, tea and juice will be served.
Proceeds will benefit the club’s Adopt-A-Family program, which provides hot meals, food, clothing, holiday gifts and other assistance to families in need. We also provide the food for the nurse’s pantries at all of our local elementary schools.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door for $5.00 per person. Children under one are free.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona hosted its annual spelling bee at Verona High School on Saturday, January 16th. There were 45 participants in attendance.
